Busy (not so busy) Holidays

Oh hi darlings,

So 2 weeks have passed. When I was in Lisbon I cleaned up my room and my closet. I gave away loads of things that I simply did not use, clothes and handbags. It makes no sense keeping all that stuff just to be standing in my closet collecting dust, makes a lot more sense if someone else is using and enjoying all those things.

Now I am in my hometown, Santarém, and I am basically doing nothing, other than watching videos and Grey's Anatomy, which I am now finishing season 9 and for now I will stop because I remember season 10 well enough to be watching it again.

Oh there is one other thing that I have been doing, searching masters and universities in the UK. It is a little overwelming, all the options, all the things I have to consider and have to have in mind. I don't know, it is just very intense.

But to end in a good note, tomorrow I will be going to the beach!!! Real holidays! Praia da Rocha in Algarve, here I go! So today and yesterday was packing day and getting beach ready!

I'm back!

Oh hi darlings,

Well I haven't done a post in a long time but life happens and time flies and I had to focus in other things, unfortunately. I missed posting things so now I'm going to try and do it more often.

Right now I'm on vacation and can you guess what I am doing? Cleaning and decluttering whilst watching Grey's Anatomy from the begining and I'm now on season 4. I really miss all the characters!

Happy Birthday! / Feliz Aniversário!

Oh hi darlings!

I turned 20 on the 6th of April and went out for lunch with my father, step mother and my amazing boyfriend!

The day was wonderful and sunny and it was very beautiful, but I had to go home early and study... Sad life!

Fiz 20 anos no dia 6 de Abril e fui almoçar fora com o meu pai, madrasta e o meu lindo namorado!

O dia foi óptimo e solarengo e estava muito bonito, mas tive que ir cedo para casa para estudar... Triste vida!

The best lip balms / Os melhores batons hidratantes

 Oh hi darlings!

I have really dry skin and my lips feel it the most... If I don't use some type of lip balm  the whole day, by the end of the day they are completely cracked and cut. I really like the products that feel very nourishing and hydrating, and most of all, thick. With the passing years I found out the best lipbalms, and here they are.

Eu tenho pele muito seca e os lábios ainda pior... Se num dia inteiro eu não puser algum tipo de hidratante de lábios, à noite estão completamente gretados e ásperos. Gosto de sentir que os produtos que aplico nos lábios são realmente nutritivos e hidratantes, que sejam espessos. Fui descobrindo os batons que me hidratam mais os lábios, e aqui estão eles.

From left to right: Lip balm from/da Greenland (cocoa-vanilla); Lip care balm from/da Johnson's (classic); Lip balm from/da Yves Rocher.

- All of them feel similar on the lips. Thick and nourishing. They all smell really good.

- Todos eles são de semelhante textura. Espessos e nutritivos. Todos cheiram maravilhosamente bem!

Lip butter from/da Nivea (caramel cream) :

- Feels very good on the lips. It gives a slight tint to the lips and it is glossy. The scent is delicious!

- Sabe muito bem nos lábios. Muda um pouco a cor dos lábios, para mais claro e tem um acabamento brilhante. O cheiro é divinal!

Lip balsam from/da Nuxe (rêve de miel):

- Really thick and matte. Smells a little citrussy and you can definitely smell the honey. I use it over night.

- Muito espesso e sem brilho. Cheira um pouco a citrinos e consegue-se totalmente cheirar o mel. Eu uso-o quando vou dormir.

Lip balsam from/da Carmex (classic):

- This one is not thick, but it is reallyyy hydrating. Tingles the lips a little and smells mentholy. It is slightly glossy.

- É pouco espesso, mas é muito hidratante. Refresca os lábios e cheira a menta. É ligeiramente brilhante.

The last day...

Oh hi darlings!

And this was the last day in the most wonderful and beautiful city in the world... On the 28th we went to Southwark to ride on the London Eye and then had lunch at Borough Market. To finish it all up we walked along the river and of course passed threw the Tower Bridge. We went to the hotel to pack and at night we went to Westfield Stratford City with my friend again! It was really fun and I was the best way to say "see you later London" ever!

E este foi o último dia na cidade mais bonita do mundo... Dia 28 fomos à parte Sul, andar no London Eye e fomos almoçar ao Borough Market. Para finalizar fomos passear ao lado do rio e claro passámos pela Tower Bridge. Fomos cedo para o hotel para começar a arrumar as coisas e à noite fomos ao Westfield Stratford City com a minha amiga! Foi muito giro e a melhor despedida de sempre!

And the adventure continues!

Oh hi darlings!

This post is going to be a mixture of two days, the 26th and the 27th because it was pretty uneventful... 

On the morning of the 26th we went to the St. Jame's Park and then to the Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard. In the afternoon we went to Selfridges and Oxford Street, to shop the rest of the day, and there I met up with a really good friend who lives in London. I had a blast!

On the morning of the 27th we went to Camden Town and Market to shop and in the afternoon we went to the Madame Tussaud's Museum!

Este post vai ser uma mistura de dois dias, 26 e 27, porque não tirámos muitas fotografias e não se passou nada de mais...

Na manhã de 26 fomos ao St. Jame's Park e depois ao Buckingham Palace para ver a mudança da guarda. À tarde fomos ao Selfridges e a Oxford Street, para passear e fazer compras o resto do dia e lá combinei encontrar-me com uma amiga que vive lá. Foi óptimo matar saudades!
